Goddess's Touch (part 1)

The barrage of bullets rang through the quietness of the night. Obsession had taken hold of him and he wanted to prove that she was more than human. He wanted to prove that the beautiful young woman that stood before him had appeared more than a hundred years ago was either an alien or a goddess. The sweat that covered his brows ran a steady stream into his eyes and he squinted them. Alarmed screams of pain and dismay aroused the crowd that she stood within. One by one the bodies fell to the ground and the once white pristine ballroom turn to crimson. panicked voices and fear ruled the action of those not struck in the malay. All night long she had felt the tingle of uneasiness as it traced its feathery fingers down her spine. It course leaving a cold chill in the core of her being. An errie chilling she could no shake. Something was going to happen tonight, it was just a matter of when. The why or the how would be sorted out later. Her brown eyes scanned the room full of faces that spread out like a sea of brown, black, blues, grey and green. She could not read the malice in any of their eyes. But she knew it was there. they blamed her for the un welcomed inccident. Their thoughts spoke volumes it was her fault. There was no warning of a shout, the sound of rapid gun fire herald those theat fell aroung around her. She herself felt the hot piercing pain and the projectile tore through the honey colored flesh of her shoulder taking her down. His footsteps thundered in her ears as he stepped closer. She knew not who her attacker was only that he had wanted to maim and kill. Stephan had reached the spot where she once stood looked down upon the woman lying on the floor before him. Her grey eyes watched him and he stared intently intently into the sea of swirling grey’s and blue. He was right she wasn't human and he would prove it tonight. he knew that somehow she would arise again. Ayanna watched his mouth move wordlessly as he raised the nine-millimeter held in his hand. The shaking of his hand cause him to press off another shot which landed into the floor beside her head. Ayanna's eyes widen as a response and then she heard his words clearly.

“You’re not human!”

No whimper came from her as the pain laced through her shoulder increased. the burning magnified. Deftly she raised her head and stared into the nozzle of the gun. If she was going to die then Ayanna would face it head on.

“Monster! “ he screamed and leaned forward, his crazed eyes captured hers." I saw you... I saw you." No one can still look the same after a hundred years. Yanking her to her feet he put the gun to her head. Ayanna had no time to contemplate what would happen next as the room grew extremely bright. an emence golden light illuminated within the room blinding the occupants. Ayanna found that she was no-longer in the crazed man grasp. She heard him yell at her as she was yanked from his grip.

"Damn monster!"

An angered voiced emminated from the light

“How dare you seek to harm her!” roared within the room.

“You will pay for the insult to my family and the house of Nyx.”

Those within the room cowered in fear as the light subsided and a woman stood before them.

the hair upon her head stretched to the floor in a red flame.

“One your knees, you insect. All of you on your knees!”

Scrambling bodies that headed for the exit instantly fell to their knees. The compulsion of her words forced their bodies to act out her command. Aurora’s sea green eyes glowed eerie within her beautiful face. The brownness of her skin glowed as well. Raising her hand Aurora slashed through the air and Stephan body crumpled to the ground. She stamped her foot down the ground beneath her touch opened and swallowed his body up. She looked at the fallen younger woman before her. The redness of her blood had soaked through the white blouse she wore. No noticeable signs of pain were detected in her face as her stared blankly into the eyes of the woman her.

A slow smile rose on Aurora’s lips. She reached down and gently placed her hand over the bleeding wound. Her touch sealed the skin that was ravaged by the bullet.

“Come Ayanna, we need to leave this place and go home.”

“Home?”

“Yes, dear sister mother has sent me to come and fetch you.”
